Welcome to the Libraratory! 2024 VLA/VLACRL Annual Conference

More than ever in recent history, we’ve seen the importance of solidarity among
librarians as we push back on censorship efforts. Two authors will describe how
VLA’s practice of rotating executive committee roles between academic and
public librarians has strengthened understanding and collaboration between
libraries, providing a lifeline for research and access to materials to preserve intellectual
freedom in Virginia.
