Recent research highlights systemic dysfunction and toxicity in libraries. Paradoxically, some employees not only choose to stay in these workplaces but become increasingly loyal to them. Literature, including organizational commitment models, doesn’t explain this phenomenon. The condition Corporate Stockholm Syndrome serves as a possible explanation. Study data will be shared.
