Welcome to the Libraratory! 2024 VLA/VLACRL Annual Conference

This poster presents a data science research project that evaluates individual state data on amount of books banned or attempted to be banned, population/population density, political standing, regional location, and more. The evaluation is conducted in order to answer the question: What causes US states to have more or less banned books than other states?
