About me
Nikki is a spring 2024 graduate of ODU's MLIS program and recently joined the ODU Libraries as a Research Data Management (RDM) Librarian. Prior to this she spent the last 2 years working with the Libraries, first as a graduate assistant and then as a part-time Research Data Management Specialist. She holds an M.S. in Earth Sciences - Ocean Mapping from the Center for Coastal and Ocean Mapping / Joint Hydrographic Center (CCOM/JHC) at the University of New Hampshire (UNH) and a B.S. in Marine Science from Coastal Carolina University (CCU). Before joining the ODU community, Nikki worked for 10+ years as a marine geoscientist in the professional sector, which included nautical charting under contract to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and supporting offshore wind farm development. She is enthusiastic about RDM and is excited to support the Libraries' and University's research data management services.
