About me
After serving in the United States Coast Guard and the Reserves as a commissioned officer, I obtained my Master’s degree in Information Science from the University of Tennessee. As I earned my Master’s degree, I began my work in public libraries, first as a volunteer at the Chesapeake Public Library, and then progressively working my way up to Executive Director of Middlesex County Public Library (MCPL). Along the way, I've worked at Bayliss Public Library in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, and Rappahannock Community College in Glenns & Warsaw, Virginia. I am interested in strategic planning, leadership, the outdoors, and cats.
