About me
Kerri (they/them) has worked for Fairfax County Public Libraries for close to 20 years in a variety of settings, from starting as a high school volunteer to their current position as a Youth Services Information Assistant. Kerri loves teen programming (especially nerdy, fandom-related programming), graphic novels, and making sure that everyone feels welcome in the library. Their favorite books are realistic, sci-fi, or fantasy books or graphic novels, especially those featuring LGBTQA+ or disabled characters. When not in library land, Kerri can probably be found watching Star Wars, Marvel, or Disney movies, surrounded by fidget toys, and learning invented languages from fantasy and sci-fi fandoms. They will gladly talk to you about Alternative and Augmentative Communication and neurodiversity for days, so don't get them started unless you really want to know.
