About me
Hi, I'm Abby! I got my start in life in New Hampshire then moved to Virginia to attend Hollins University where I earned my BA in English with a concentration in Creative Writing. I then moved to northern Virginia and worked in a special and two public libraries while earning my MLIS with San José State University. After earning my degree, I joined DC Public Library where I've served in several roles. I've written for Book Riot, School Library Journal, Booklist, and other publications and run the popular library and bookish TikTok @24hourlibrary. In my free time, I pursue crafty interests, play guitar, write, walk/hike, and spend time with my cat, Oopsilon, and husband in Falls Church.
